Meet Betty
Betty supports our clients with a personalized approach tailored to meeting their specific needs and preferences. She keeps regular communication through meetings, calls and updates not just for clients, but also for Waterstone staff. She works to anticipate potential issues by addressing them before they arise, builds strong relationships with clients by understanding their interests and values, and continues to improve by staying updated on client events and industry trends.
Betty has several decades of experience working in the private sector, focused mainly on the banking and rail industries. She’s been a Directory Assistance Operator, sold rail repair and rail car maintenance programs, sold Nissan vehicles and worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Betty is a team player who usually ends up being the office’s “Mom,” and a high performer who relishes opportunities to interact with clients.
A native Texan who spent her formative years between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Betty has always felt comfortable whether she’s in jeans or formals. Her passion in life used to be drag racing, having done parades, car shows and even auctions for the NHRA. Eight years ago, Betty became a grandmother and found a new passion: Tucker Edward, who loves baseball and is becoming quite the talented little catcher. Her weekends now consist of baseball tournaments and frozen pickle juice.
Betty also has a black cat named Romeo that she believes was sent to her by her late husband. She’s also passionate about opportunities to dress in costume – she designs and makes her own costume every Halloween and has portrayed several different influential Hispanic women for Hispanic Heritage Month.
