Our Family
Melanie and Ken have been married for 23 years and have been blessed with two boys named Triston and Haydon.
Ken is originally from Mesquite, Texas and Melanie was raised on a farm near Stuttgart, Arkansas. They met at Southern Methodist University while attending college. Ken played football at both SMU and OSU. Both earned Master's degrees while in college. Having been a student athelete, Ken understands the powerful results that are achieved from focus, dedication, and teamwork. Melanie learned the virtues of hard work, perseverance, and the natural cycle of harvesting a crop's bounty while growing up on a rice farm in Arkansas. They attribute their up bringing in allowing them to balance the pressures of family and work, while advising their clients through the ever changing markets and cycle of their lives.
Ken and Melanie have lived in Oklahoma for over 23 years and are active participants in their community, local charities, and their children's many activities. Both boys play youth football and parents are involved as both coach and their biggest fans. Additionally, passions include hunting, fishing, as well as traveling.
They believe that teaching their children character is one of the most important tasks they have as parents. They developed a program called Character Coin that encourages others to focus on building and developing positive character in both adults and children. This program was donated to the Owasso Public Schools and City of Owasso.
Melanie and Ken take seriously the trust their clients place in them to provide advice and guidance on the financial markets. They love spending time as a family and with friends and value the gifts that these relationships bring.
